Workshop Wednesday | Financial Education: Making Money Simple

FREE EVENT Insurances, Investments, Debt, ugh, boring right? Well, the goal is the exact opposite, to make talking these things fun! In this session we will touch on the debt situation in Canada, the different places in Canada we can put our money, and understanding insurance. My motto this year is to "keep it simple stupid." Money doesn't have to be complicated. ABOUT SERENA: Serena is a born and raised Cranbrook native who but has always loved to travel. So, when the opportunity came up to move to Edmonton, she jumped on it. it was in Edmonton she was introduced to World Financial Group. This was the first time she got a financial education and was blown away. Throughout her training she learned how money works, but more importantly, how money can help people, and this is where her passion lies- people. Protecting families to give them a piece of mind, putting thousands of extra dollars into people's retirements, and giving people hope in situations of debt when nobody believed in them. Through money and finance she is able to make a difference in the community and in people's lives. Outside of her business she loves to write songs and play music, whether that be in a park, at an open mic or around a campfire, music will always be in her life.
